How is war and fighting part of human nature?

I have never had a fight with anyone and I am against war as I am a pacifist. However, I constantly hear how people think it is 'just human nature' or 'natural'. Please explain to me how? Aren't they just elaborate excuses for people to use to justify the pain and death that they and their country's army cause?|||Well, really, we humans are just animals who can think. We're territorial, and we fight. That's why it's in our nature.|||Being a new zealand soldier most of us are anti war and we peacekeep. but we always train for it if we happen to get attacked'' im against all that war stands for today.Is it hypocritical and a paradox for people to protest against War, but eat meat %26amp; support slaughterhouses ?We are the living graves of murdered beasts,Slaughtered to satisfy our appetites.We never pause to wonder at our feasts,


If animals, like men, can possibly have rights.We pray on Sundays that we may have light,


To guide our footsteps on the path we tread.We're sick of war, we do not want to fight -


The thought of it now fills our hearts with dread,And yet - we gorge ourselves upon the dead.


Like carrion crows we live and feed on meat,Regardless of the suffering and the pain


we cause by doing so, if thus we treat defenceless animals for sport or gain,


how can we hope in this world to attain,the PEACE we say we are so anxious for.We pray for it ,to God, while outraging the moral law, thus cruelty begets its offspring - WAR.|||Fighting it self is part of every species on the planet its about showing dominance its part of natural selection for reproductive purposes males fight over females etc now lets talk war some wars are legitimate others are nothing more than for the sole profit for a small few which is what 99% of all wars fought by major country's are about today.





But every once in a while their are legitimate wars for freedom from a oppressive or failed government.


You say your a pacifist ? how bout you let me lock you in a cell with very little food or water and treat you like a animal for a few weeks will see how much of a pacifist you are then.|||People want.

People take.
