What is more important winning the war or ending the war ?|||Winning. I was there and I know first hand that we ARE making progress unlike what the news reports. All the news reports is about the bad things, hardly ever about the progers were making.|||When you win the war thats when you end it.|||winning it! So our kids won't have to go back.|||Winning isn't everything, it is the only thing.|||It's un-winnable.|||Winning. Otherwise, we're just handing the problem to the next generation.|||If we want to remain an "Empire" we have to win. If we want our soldiers back from an" Unjust War" we end it.|||It is unwinnable, but a lasting peace should be forged there, otherwise sept 11 is going to look so small compared to the shitstorm brewing ahead.|||winning or there would be no point in the war at all. For example, Vietnam, we went in there lost now the whole country is Communist. For all that money and those lives, we better win the f**king war.|||We ended the war in Vietnam and accepted defeat and we've been paying for it ever since. Ending a war with anything less than victory is not an option.|||Winning.|||Whatever will make the gas prices go down.|||Win, If we don't then we'll just have to go back again, lose more lives and those already lost would be in vain.
We should put all our resources in this, crush the nut cases as quickly as possible and come home. doing it halfway is what happened in Korea and Viet Nam. Those 2 wars just worked out great for the future of humanity, didn't they?
Never pull out the gun unless you intend to use it, once you do there is no turning back.|||Depends who you ask.............|||We already won the "war". Saddam is dead and that's what we went there to do. We are now just trying to keep the terrorists/insurgents from taking Iraq back over and picking up where Saddam left off. If you had the guts to join the military you'd know that. We ended the war in Japan over 60 years ago and we're still there.
