How did the cold war influence America鈥檚 relations with other countries?

Communist governments had a completely closed economy, but would usually trade with other Communist nations; and Capitalists with Capitalist governments.



America's economy boomed post-1945 because it was the U.S. economy that financed Europe %26amp; Japan's rebuilding.

After that, those same country became America's best trading partners, during the Cold War.
