In what ways did the French and Indian War help cause the Revolutionary War?

It is sometimes said that the roots of future wars lie in the results of past wars.

What are some things that happened during the French and Indian War that might have helped cause the Revolutionary War?|||During the French and Indian War, a HUGE debt was built up by Great Britain and the colonies in America. After the war was over, in order to pay off the debt that they created, Britain began to tax Americans. At first, it was tolerable, though the Americans did not think that Parliament had the right to tax the colonies. Soon, as the taxes grew worse and more intrusive of their rights, Americans boycotted British goods and refused to pay taxes (just generally protesting them, peacefully). Eventually, more and more taxes were added on and it grew to the point where Americans no longer wanted to be apart of Great Britain. Also, during the French and Indian War, Americans were able to become 'trained' as soldiers (such as George Washington).

So, in other words, a factor during the French and Indian War would have been the debt that caused Britain to tax Americans. |||George Washington was already a soldier in the British Army before the Revolutionary War. For someone with an Honors AP US History, I thought you would've known that.

|||You have to remember this the Native Americans hated the Americans and were good friends with both British and French. If you read and study American history and Native American history it says that the Revolutionary War happened because the Americans wanted independence from the British. There were many reasons why the war happened. The British made promises that they used to get ahead and people began seeing how ugly the British were and demanded these treaties. When the British retaliated against the colonials the war erupted. The Americans were actually quite brutal towards the Natives and the British were pretty kind to them. The French were fence riders they adapted and made kin.

I know people will doubt me on this, but I doubt they have a strong interest in history as me and have spent years studying.
