Hey.I have a couple of curious questions I wanna know.Since I haven't read much war history maybe some of u know somethhing here's my questions.
What wars that are going on know have the similar causes as other historical wars?
What thing that are happening know ex politic,economy etc can cause war that has historical war example?
What countries do you think will have a war in the future and why? Historical war example?|||You can't stop war. As long as people have free will, there will be war. It will never end but the important thing is to win the wars you have to fight.|||There are many conflicts going on that could potentially escalate, but let me tell you something, you can't refer to the past to predict the future. It doesn't work that way. You know there's a verse in the Book of Maccabbees, which is a book of the Septuagint and currently in the Catholic/Orthodox Bible that says, something like the events that happen in your life are SO special, that they only happen to you. That means that you can't look at other for examples of your life, exactly. It'll never come out the same. You're destined for things that are special to you. That's why you can't plot what you're gonna do before time, You need to take everything one step at a time and be ready to course through to another direction at a time's notice. You can't look to the past to be a decider of your future. We don't know what could arise, and we're not gonna be able to predict. What you need are people who can make the right decisions at the right moments.|||The control of finite resources.Oil, water, agriculture,etc;
"There are no atheists in foxholes". This claim is made by believers about combatants who when entering into battle often pray to God for victory. On the other side of the war fence, there is very likely a similarly frightened human being, often another adherent of the Ten Commandments (or similar precepts) praying for the death of their enemy. How is God, the same God of both believers, to respond? Praying to God for victory or survival through the death of another is taking the name of the Lord in vain, is it not?. The presupposition is, of course, that there is a god, a Lord, whose name can be taken in vain. The contradiction of such prayer for victory should suffice in causing a re-examination and questioning of the untenable position of the combatants. Perhaps, walking away from war is the ultimate in taking the name of the Lord, God, that is, money, in vain. War almost always involves material gain on the part of those orchestrating it. Perhaps, refusing to die for the greed of the ruling elite is the saving grace from any belief in the higher power of money.
During Christmas we make claim to the Jesus message of peace, but we revel in an orgy of spending constantly being reminded that it is "un-American" not to spend money. We are incessantly urged in these troubled times to go out and buy something, anything. We spend and spend even if that means going into debt to pay for all the material things we place under the tree. If we placed as much emphasis on the Jesus message of nonviolence than we do on making the holidays a national economic success, perhaps, we might then move closer to peace on Earth and goodwill to all. While our coins and paper money may say, "In God We Trust", what we really mean is, "In Legal Tender We Trust". We invest so heavily in the carved idols of acquisition that we have even changed our foreign policy. The United States now condones, and commits, first strike military action and pre-emptive war. We love the profit of war. We love the Lord, Money. We love that which produces even more money above all else. War is big business. It requires great sacrifice to continuously guarantee profit. Those who sacrifice the most are those that benefit the least.|||Most wars are about domination and land/resources.
The United States is unusual in that it has fought several wars and Not demanded land as reparations.
Aside from the 'Mexican War' and the 'Spanish American War', America has not 'annexed' other nations as the other world powers have.
We have however, fought wars to prevent 'Imperialism' and acted as 'defenders of the vanquished' in recent wars.
The 'League of Nations' and 'United Nations' were formed to provide a venue for the prevention of wars, but we can all see what a failure this has been!
Communism has lessened it's threat as a promoter of war, however 'radical Islam' has been gaining strength as a regional threat in the Middle East as well as an exporter of 'terror'.
The next major war depends on how the Islamic states assert their nuclear armament and threats against Israel and the West!
Destabilized Pakistan and a nuclear Iran and North Korea will 'upset the apple-cart'!|||all war has the same cause
the survival of one group is seen as a threat to the survival of another group
probably civil war in USA within next 4-5 years, maybe 18 months
if you are not prepared to win at war
you are preparing to be ended|||Power, belief's, etc.
Mainly power, though.
I don't know what country's would have war in the future, nor would I know why - because that's a subjective matter. I could probably guess? But, than I would like a guessing fool.|||Land. It always comes back to land. Crusades, world wars Napoleon everything is due to expansion.|||Get rid of the criminals that run the UN. Then maybe it will have some teeth.|||Show me a war, and I'll show you a repo pres.|||HUMANS and NO.
