What was the point to these wars, and how did they affect the Cold War?|||the point of the Korean and Vietnam wars during the cold war was to contain communism and to not allow the "domino theory" to occur. The domino theory was that if Vietnam fell to communism, all of Southeast Asia would fall to communism. As a result of the Vietnam War, Cambodia did fall to communism, but luckily, the rest of Southeast Asia was fine.|||Basically what the first person said.
