Why do our leaders think that the Afghanistan war will go similar to Iraq's war, they are extremely different?

Why is it not clear at the highest levels that the Afghanistan war and the Iraq war are two extremely different wars?





Are our politicians really that foolish?|||No, but the majority of people will believe whatever politicians tell them so it suits their causes to lie about it.|||because there idiots |||Sshhh!!! They are not supposed to know it's a war. That's why it's called Operation Iraqi Freedom.|||because their arrogant and stupid. the wars are similar in that the U S


is fighting a well run guerrilla force in both places.no one has ever won a war against such a force. the germans didn't in ww2, the french didn't


in Vietnam, the U S didn't in Vietnam, Russia didn't in Afghanistan and


the U S is not going to win in Iraq or Afghanistan. The U S always gets


involved in conflicts that they don't have the faintest idea of who their enemy is. in both iraq and afghanistan the people are ethnic, tribal


and they don't like each other and they don't agree on much, but what


they do agree on is they don't like foreigners messing in their business.


The U S leaders don't get that democracy does not work for all cultures and should not be trying to force it on other countries. We


wouldn't even be there if they had no oil and if anyone thinks different


i think they are sadly mistaken.
