When did the Vietnam War start and end for Americans?

In the 1950's Ike sent suplies


in 1962 or so JFK sent in Green Beret Advisors consperasy theorists beleive he was going withdraw them but got shot before hand.


1965- The Gulf of Tonkin incedient a US destroyer was shot at by an NVA torpedo boat this followed the increased invovlement.

1973 after Line backer II the North Vietnamese signed a peace treaty


1975 the North vietnamese broke the treaty and invaded the south and toppled the Saigon Government


Ford did nothing|||America entered the Vietnam Conflict in 1964 (The Gulf of Tonkin Incident).

America officially ended direct involvement in 1973 (Paris Peace Accords)|||The United States started supporting the French in 1950. That last military action by US troops was the Marines seizing the Mayaguez from Khmer Rouge troops on May 15, 1975.
