How would the Korean War have been different without the battle at Inchon Landing?

I have the majority of an essay about this finished. I just need a little more detail. So, how would the Korean War have been different without the battle at Inchon Landing?|||It would have lasted much longer. By landing well in the rear of the communist forces MacArthur cut them off from their supply lines and forced them into a panicked retreat. Many were not able to retreat and surrendered.

If you've been studying things then you know at the time of the Inchon landing the communist forces had the US and South Korean forces bottled up in the "Pusan Perimeter." MacArthur could have simple reinforced the perimeter and forced a frontal engagement but that would have meant lengthy brutal combat.|||made the n koreans yell "I give",and ask for a truce
